In-Home Master Personal Trainer
About The Position
GYMGUYZ NW Washington is seeking a high-performing Master Trainer who excels in both coaching clients and helping individuals start their fitness journeys. As a Master Trainer, you will conduct fitness assessments, build client relationships, recommend customized programs, and guide clients toward their goals. This role offers competitive session pay plus commission opportunities, distinguishing it from traditional fitness roles by rewarding both coaching expertise and client acquisition. Unlike other fitness jobs, you won't be required to prospect on a gym floor, meet membership sales quotas, or pay for training space. Instead, you'll focus on building meaningful client relationships, achieve strong earning potential, and grow with a leading mobile personal training company.
Requirements
- Nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Proven ability to build rapport and motivate clients
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between appointments
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset
Nice To Haves
- Experience conducting fitness consultations or assessments
- Experience selling personal training or wellness programs
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Comfortable using fitness technology and mobile applications
- Experience with Trainerize, Mindbody, or similar platforms
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and consultations.
- Recommend customized fitness programs based on client goals and needs.
- Close training packages and help clients confidently begin their fitness journey.
- Deliver engaging in-home and on-site personal training sessions.
- Design and update personalized fitness programs using the GYMGUYZ App.
- Track client progress through regular reassessments.
- Build relationships with referral partners and community organizations.
- Participate in community outreach and business development activities.
- Support and collaborate with other members of the training team.
