About The Position

This role is for a Master Mechanic/Electrician 1 at Eaton Container, a full-time hourly position working a 12-hour shift rotation that includes every other weekend. The primary function is to maintain machinery to ensure maximum utilization of equipment by keeping it running at available capacity and speed. This involves troubleshooting and repairing programmable controllers, A/C and D/C drives, and their control systems. The position also requires following up on work orders to ensure proper completion and entry into the maintenance software, planning and scheduling maintenance work, and complying with all company policies, including safety and housekeeping.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
Experience in a corrugated facility is strongly preferred.
Must demonstrate proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls & drives,
mechanical power transmissions, welding & metal fabrication, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting & repair, lift truck safety and PC literacy.
Must successfully complete a maintenance test, drug screening, and background /employment verification.

Responsibilities
