About The Position

Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) is seeking candidates for full-time faculty appointments in the Nursing Department, starting in August 2026, in Joplin, Missouri. Successful candidates will be prepared to teach both didactic and clinical nursing courses, with clinical expertise sought in adult health and pediatrics. This is an on-site, non-tenure track position requiring a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and undergraduate advising. Requirements

  • Graduate degree in nursing or within 1 year of earning a graduate degree.
  • Completed the Missouri Hospital Association Clinical Academy.

  • Background check.
  • Clinical compliance documentation, including immunizations and titers, may be required.
