About The Position

The OOS Fabricator is responsible for fabricating more difficult and intricate projects within the specified time allotted. The OOS Fabricator must build to shop tolerances from detailed work orders and drawings, quality check their own work, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand detailed work orders and drawings, including all notes.
Ability to create cut lists for items being built.
Experience with thermoforming material, operating ovens and vacuum presses.
Ability to lay out angles and radiuses.
Working knowledge of all power tools and their safe operation.
Ability to build trim jigs and molds.
Ability to build items within shop tolerances.
Ability to quality check own work, verifying color, cutout location, and top size against the work order before proceeding.
Ability to palletize completed work and group finished Label IDs so Project Managers and Project Planners can locate completed items.
Ability to keep work area clean and safe.
Must wear required PPE at all times.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds independently.
Must be able to stand for extended periods in a shop environment with noise and dust.
