About The Position
Join a drill bit manufacturing team responsible for the full production cycle of PDC (diamond) drill bits, including fabrication, finishing, repair, and inspection. This role is built for someone eager to learn multiple manufacturing processes and work across different areas of the shop as production needs shift.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment preferred
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple manufacturing processes
- Ability to follow work instructions, specifications, and quality standards
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Safety boots required
- Ability to work 100% onsite in The Woodlands, TX
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, finish, and repair PDC (diamond) drill bits across multiple stages of production
- Perform brazing, welding, grinding, and painting operations to specification
- Operate CNC machining, plotting, and furnace equipment as assigned
- Conduct quality inspections and final clean-up on completed bits
- Support general repair and rework operations, rotating across work areas as needed
