About The Position

This role is responsible for executing the fabrication plans and supporting the daily operations and manufacturing tasks/projects for the entire facility.

Requirements

Experience in fabrication or a related field
Proficiency in working with various tools and materials to create components or structures
Craftsmanship abilities with an emphasis on fabrication
Ability to operate machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
Attention to detail for precise fabrication and assembly
Adherence to safety procedures and protocols
Knowledge of material properties and characteristics
Two years of fabrication experience.
Basic mechanical knowledge.

Nice To Haves

Associates Technical Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Follows Safety Guideline and procedures set for this role.
Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or tools if he/she has not been trained to operate.
Creates and builds metal structures and components according to design specifications.
Examines project requirements to determine materials and dimensions needed to complete the job or task.
Assesses and mitigates potential challenges in the fabrication process.
Conducts precise measurements and cutting materials to specified sizes.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
Interprets technical drawings and blueprints for accurate fabrication.
Operates and maintains fabrication machinery and tools.
Reports any operational or equipment failures to supervisor or plant manager as soon as they occur.
Assembles and welds components to construct final products.
Inspects finished products for quality and making necessary adjustments.
Collaborates with design teams and engineers to optimize fabrication processes.
Use hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components into the final product.
Weld and solder pieces together.
Align components and connect them with bolts and screws.
