ITS - Master Electrician
About The Position
This is structure and crafts work as a licensed Master Electrician involving the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of various electrical systems. This position will work on a variety of traffic systems including Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS), street lights, flashing beacons, traffic signals, and bridge lighting. Responsibilities include performing skilled electrical tasks in accordance with standard trade practices, the National Electrical Code, and all state and town electrical regulations. Indirect supervision may be exercised over other electricians, helpers, or transportation workers. Work is performed under limited supervision.
Requirements
- A valid current Master Electrician's license.
- Maine Master Electrician's license as issued by the Electrician's Examining Board.
- A Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or H-2A, H-2B, or E-2 visa holder to be eligible for new or renewed CDLs.
Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of various electrical systems.
- Working on traffic systems including Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS), street lights, flashing beacons, traffic signals, and bridge lighting.
- Performing skilled electrical tasks in accordance with standard trade practices, the National Electrical Code, and all state and town electrical regulations.
- Indirect supervision of other electricians, helpers, or transportation workers.
