About The Position

The Master Data Analyst is expected to validate, challenge & communicate PLZ Standard process and use knowledge to help progress forward with process improvements. Process improvement & leadership will be in areas that may include but are not limited to: New Product set up through utilization of PLZs internal PLM tool, SAP audit, assist Buyers/Schedulers with MRP setting adjustments, training, maintaining data integrity, working with Project Managers and Sales. This is primarily a remote position but may be required onsite periodically for training, meetings, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ Years of SAP experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ Years of Master Data Experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Skills in collaborative planning and decision-making, networking, team-building and multi-tasking
• A strong drive to deliver results and a willingness to challenge boundaries and strive for continuous improvement
• Required to be at computer 90% to 100% of the day
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
• Communication Skills – written and verbal
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations with incomplete data
• Ability to partner with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Setup Finished Goods, Components and Raw Materials in SAP
• Maintain Specs & ensure data is consistently set up in SAP
• Manage material status based on inventory status and sales direction
• Work with R&D and Quality to adjust Bill of Materials
• Self Sufficient in shared inbox to complete ‘ticket’/emails
• Needs to be able to recognize when critical information is missing or incomplete
• Provide support to various functional team members across the business.
• Operate under minimal supervision and solves comprehensive problems
• Effectively communicate SOP’s for PLZ Standards
• Drive process improvement
• Work with Project Management group to setup new items
• Work with R&D and quality to ensure accurate BOM setup
• Work with Management and IT team to integrate SAP at satellite sites
• Prioritize and create projects with IT to improve SAP
