This role requires a self-starter who is detail-oriented and organized, and able to accept and follow directions. The technician will have a working knowledge of general manufacturing/fabrication processes and will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, installing, and re-working various aircraft structural components unsupervised. The position involves familiarity with the installation of various aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates, etc., and the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings. Responsibilities also include maintaining shop supplies, performing preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, operating complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assigned, and using precision measuring devices. Additionally, the role involves inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures, maintaining tool control and accountability, and adhering to company policies and safety programs. Other duties as assigned.
