About The Position
WFOX Jacksonville TV is accepting applications for a Full-Time Master Control Switcher. This role involves ensuring the quality of all content processed through Master Control systems, managing on-air and commercial breaks, maintaining on-air logs, recording multiple feeds, monitoring transmitters, and complying with FCC and EAS regulations. The position requires the ability to complete multiple tasks accurately and within deadlines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- References must be provided in writing
- Knowledge of Video Operations
- Proficient in computers and accurate data entry
- Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of video servers and automation systems within a Television environment
- Ability to plan ahead, troubleshoot and adapt to change with ease
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work flexible shifts to cover vacation/sick time
- Ability to work overtime if necessary
- Excellent organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in television Master Control Operations a plus
- One year of broadcasting radio or TV experience preferred
