About The Position

The Master Business Planning Analyst is accountable for executing the various Part and Component Demand Management computation, modeling and demand signaling tools and systems and to enable Buyers, Shop Planners, and other Supply Assurance personnel to establish adequate supply plans for Consumables, repairables and Components to meet business needs and desired/approved inventory levels. In this role, the incumbent will use his or her advanced Excel, Access, Planning and analysis skills to ensure the tools are accurately computing optimal results, providing the best possible gross and net demand signals and regularly monitoring the tool’s and systems Data Quality.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years’ experience in similar Supply Planning, Production Control/Production Planning roles across a variety of industries, providing him/her the competence and hands-on knowledge to continually identify and address Best Practices in Supply Planning which can be brought to bear to CHIs challenging supply planning needs and situations
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training and/or experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced Supply Planning and/or adjunct Supply Planning disciplines such as Lean, Six Sigma, Program Management, advanced ERP and other planning software systems and tools
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn other applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to present ideas, concepts and proposals with a wide range of audiences at all levels, technical or non-technical, both internal and external
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Proven Supervisory, Management and or program or team leadership skills with a demonstrated and successful history of coaching and development of technical professionals from entry to senior levels

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Supply Team members as may be needed to ensure supply meets business needs to drive Procurement, Work Order and Repair Order execution, goods harvesting, and repair scheduling of Unserviceable Inventory recertification to sustain aircraft operation and project demands.
  • Runs, Monitors and Controls the various Supply Planning reports, systems, and tools to establish Supply Plan data, supply exception conditions and actions, communicating said plans through the tool’s data output, signals, exception monitoring and reporting to ensure supply exception conditions are driven into health.
  • Drives Supply Planning tools and systems Continuous Improvement plans to achieve improved ease of use, automation, data quality improvements, exception reporting and other aids for improved response and execution by the Buyers, Planners and others supply assurance groups
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to Production/Supply Planners to ensure that the adequate supply plans are established to support Component and Expendable requirements.
  • Coordinates and works across a broad base of customers, providers and collaborators, managing and leading both laterally, upwards and downwards, to ensure effective, high-velocity information, decision and action flow for parts that may require cross-functional collaboration or effort to attain supply health.
  • Provides short-term and long-term planning for department services, organization, staffing, and use of technology.
