You will work within Walmart stores in your area, building seasonal display items (Patio Furniture, BBQ’s, Swings, Lawn Mowers, etc.) and a wide selection of quality Bicycles. You will be our go-to-person to arrive in store, ready to build! You will assemble products and ensure the salesfloor is merchandised according to the client requirements. As this is a seasonal program, we also have great incentives that encourage builders to come back year after year!

Requirements

Previous experience using hand and/or power tools such as drills/drivers, wrenches, ratchets, Allen keys, etc., to build or repair a variety of bicycles and seasonal products.
Working knowledge of mechanics/assembly and demonstrated ability to assemble products that are safe and built to last for many years to come.
Comprehension of technical directions to properly assemble product displays such as patio furniture, BBQ’s, swings, lawn mowers, snowblowers and more.
Thrives while working alone, often unsupervised.
Comfortable using mobile devices and apps to communicate in group chats, submit end of day reports, and conduct safety checklists.
Comfortable lifting and moving 30-50 pounds regularly.
Comfortable standing/walking/crouching/kneeling for extensive periods of time.
MUST have your own vehicle and be willing to travel within a designated region.

Responsibilities

Build seasonal display items (Patio Furniture, BBQ’s, Swings, Lawn Mowers, etc.) and a wide selection of quality Bicycles.
Assemble products and ensure the salesfloor is merchandised according to the client requirements.
Adhere to all Health and Safety policies to ensure that all quality measures are met or exceeded.
Conduct regular safety inspections of products.
May on occasion perform repairs and adjustments to ensure builds are meeting the highest standards.
May on occasion perform repairs or adjustments for customer-owned products.
Communicate in group chats, submit end of day reports, and conduct safety checklists using mobile devices and apps.
