About The Position

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is seeking an On-Call Massage Therapist to join their Spa Team. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, nurturing demeanor and excel in providing guests with the ultimate spa experience. This role is for individuals who thrive on creating a transcendent guest experience and enjoy interacting with guests and team members, providing a safe and secure environment. The position requires good communication and organization skills, honesty, and a desire to care for others.

Requirements

Experience in a similar size hotel, preferably an upscale independent hotel with full-service experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience.
Experience with various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and other massages.
Eagerness to learn and take pride in work.
Reliability and a flexible mind-set.
Flexible availability, willingness to work on-call, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform multiple massages per shift.
Current Massage Therapist License from the City of San Diego and/or a certification from the California Massage Therapy Council required.
Good communication and organization skills.
Honesty and the desire to take care of others.
