Requirements

  • Current State License
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Confirm all scheduled appointments and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the first appointment of the day.
  • Remain available within one hour during all scheduled shifts.
  • Greet guests warmly, maintain eye contact, and address guests by name whenever possible.
  • Ensure guests understand their treatment and are comfortable before services begin.
  • Refrain from diagnosing medical conditions or providing medical advice.
  • Deliver professional, safe, consistent, and ethical massage therapy services.
  • Regularly check in with guests during treatments to ensure comfort and adjust pressure, room temperature, lighting, music, or other environmental factors as needed.
  • Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, professional, and service-oriented manner.
  • Offer water to guests following the completion of their service.
  • Clean and prepare treatment rooms after each service to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Complete assigned side work, including linen organization, sanitizing treatment areas, replenishing supplies, cleaning equipment, and maintaining treatment products.
  • Adjust massage tables to proper ergonomic working heights.
  • Participate in all required training sessions and attend departmental meetings.
  • Check in with the Spa Concierge or Front Desk Attendant upon arrival and departure from the spa.
  • Adhere to all National Board of Massage Certification regulations, company policies, and applicable state and local requirements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of guest service, professionalism, cleanliness, and confidentiality.
