About The Position

Glacial Waters Spa at Grand View Lodge is looking for a skilled, guest-centered Massage Therapist to join our team. You'll provide exceptional therapeutic massage services tailored to each guest's individual needs; helping them relax, recover, and leave feeling genuinely cared for. By working closely with guests to understand their preferences and goals, you'll deliver experiences that are as memorable as the resort itself. Requirements

  • Current Minnesota Massage Therapist license in good standing; required.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Physical stamina to stand or walk for 4–5 hours and occasionally lift over 80 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in a spa, hotel, resort, or similar service-oriented environment preferred.
  • Strong product and service knowledge, including retail offerings.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills; you make every guest feel heard and well taken care of.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a high level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Leadership experience is a plus; there's room to grow here.
  • cash-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional therapeutic massage services tailored to each guest's preferences, needs, and treatment goals.
  • Follow established massage treatment protocols and contribute ideas for new services and product recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough guest consultations prior to each service; reviewing intake forms, identifying contraindications, and adjusting treatments accordingly.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with Minnesota state licensing requirements and Grand View Lodge protocols.
  • Adhere to all cleaning and disinfection protocols set by the resort and the State of Minnesota between every guest.
  • Recommend retail products and additional services that genuinely support each guest's wellness goals.
  • Communicate any maintenance needs or equipment concerns to the Spa Operations Manager or Director of Spa & Wellness promptly.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions; support a positive, collaborative team culture.
  • This is a resort hospitality role; availability on weekends and holidays is required to accommodate guest schedules and ensure exceptional service.
