About The Position

Hotel Equities is seeking a Massage Therapist for the Hotel Paso Del Norte in El Paso, Texas. This role is responsible for providing high-quality massage treatments to guests, adhering to essential hospitality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized spa facility. The ideal candidate will be warm, knowledgeable, and helpful, ensuring guests feel they have made the right choice in their stay.

Requirements

  • High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
  • Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team.
  • Be professional, responsible and mature in conduct and behavior.
  • Be understanding of, encouraging to and friendly with all co-workers.
  • Be self-motivated and use time wisely.
  • Maintain open line of communications with each department.

  • Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
  • Basic math skills are used frequently when handling cash or credit.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.
  • Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Providing high quality massage treatments to guests as laid out in the treatment protocols.
  • Using essential hospitality standards at all times: eye contact, smile, speak first, engage in polite conversation, use the guest surname.
  • Attending and participating in meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized spa facility.
  • Setting up spa and work stations, and ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout the shift.
  • Assisting with keeping linens clean and tidy, and replacing them between sessions.
  • Accompanying guests to and from treatment rooms.
  • Consulting with clients to identify appropriate massage services.
  • Providing massage services listed in the brochure.
  • Maintaining records and filing documentation.
  • Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain a current therapist license.
