About The Position

This is a full-time Massage Therapist position. The role involves applying scientific massage techniques for relaxation, assisting with conditions caused by nervous system dysfunction, stimulating the circulatory system, and providing release for muscle tightness. The therapist will also work with complementary agents like heat and aromatherapy, conduct opening and closing procedures, and may be required to wear a face mask while on duty. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and duties may change.

• Must be able to wear face mask while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Applies the techniques of scientific massage to assist in the art of relaxation.
• Applies massage to relieve various headaches and other conditions caused by poor functioning of the nervous system.
• Stimulates the circulatory system.
• Provides release of muscle tightness caused by stressed and shortens recovery time for injuries.
• Works with various agents to complement massage, including but not limited to the application of heat aromatherapy.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Must be able to wear face mask while on duty.
• Other duties as assigned.
