About The Position

Provide massage therapy services to customers at the Avon Fitness Center. Responsible for adhering to the standards and ethics of the Exhale Spa and the State Medical Board of Ohio. Continues to market self for future business and maintains client confidentiality. Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned, complying with all policies and standards, and abiding by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures are in place to address the appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Requirements

• High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
• 2+ years Experience in 2 or more disciplines of massage techniques (Required)
• 1+ years customer service experience (Required)
• Ability to document massage intake forms on each client (Required proficiency)
• Strong communication skills (Required proficiency)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (Required proficiency)
• Ability to use tools and accessories associated with the massage (for example: warm towels, hot stones, etc) (Required proficiency)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED within 90 Days (Required)
• Licensed by the Ohio State Board (Required)
• Maintains competencies: license and certifications must remain current at all times (Required)

• Clientele following (Preferred proficiency)
• Knowledge of products used in spa (Preferred proficiency)
