About The Position

This role is responsible for providing massage therapy to patients according to a written plan of care. The Massage Therapist will initiate massage therapy programs, instruct staff and family members on these programs and individualized goals, and perform assessments and evaluations to establish therapeutic and functional goals for clients. The position also involves advising the RN Case Manager on the patient’s response to therapy or changes in condition, promoting the Agency’s philosophy to ensure quality of care, and ensuring timely submission of all documentation. The role also requires performance of other duties as required and ensuring overall compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current registration as a Massage Therapist in the State of employment
• Minimum of one year of massage therapy experience
• Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
• Must have current driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare industry
• Experience with EMR software

Responsibilities
