About The Position
Valley View Hospital is seeking a self-motivated Massage Therapist to work part-time (24 hours/week) in our Integrated Therapies Department at the Calaway Young Cancer Center. The role involves providing relaxing massage therapy services to patients in the oncology center and other areas throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- Current Colorado massage therapy license
- Certification of completion from a minimum 500-hour formal Massage Therapy program
- Able to perform light Swedish massage and/or mind body work in 15 min-1-hour increments for oncology patients while undergoing treatment.
- Demonstrated ability in interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Patient centered care focus
- Motivated to learn medical/oncology massage therapy skills.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with an EMR (electronic medical record) a plus.
