About The Position
Join The Care Team as a Hospice Massage Therapist and provide comfort, relaxation, and compassionate support to patients during life’s most important moments. We are seeking a caring Massage Therapist to deliver individualized therapeutic services that promote comfort, reduce stress and pain, and enhance quality of life for hospice patients in home and facility settings.
Requirements
- Licensed Massage Therapist
- Active driver’s license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Current TB testing in accordance with agency policy
- Current CPR certification as required for the role
Nice To Haves
- Hospice or healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess patient appropriateness for massage therapy
- Provide therapeutic massage interventions within hospice scope
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Document services and patient response
- Maintain patient dignity and comfort at all times
