Massage Therapist
About The Position
Woodhouse Spas is seeking an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join their team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a luxurious and restorative experience for guests while helping them enhance their overall well-being. This is a part-time position, up to 32 hours per week, and requires weekend availability. The role involves performing massages and body treatments following award-winning protocols, educating guests on service benefits and product recommendations, and promoting other services. The therapist will also provide excellent guest services, maintain a clean work area, manage client information using salon software, and collaborate effectively with team members and management. Compliance with company policies and consistent attendance are essential.
Requirements
- Active IL State Massage Therapy License required
- Experience with hospitality and providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
- Has an up to date massage license for the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities
- Performs exceptional massages and body treatments following award winning protocols
- Fully prepares each and every treatment based on our treatment criteria
- Educates the guest on the benefits of the service performed and recommends products for home use.
- Talks up all the other great services we offer and provides enhancement treatments
- Provide excellent guest services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to current State Board regulations.
- Utilize salon software to manage client information.
- Works well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
- Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position
- Exercises good judgment and makes decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.
