About The Position

The Edgewater Spa is Madison’s premier destination for holistic well-being, offering a comprehensive array of services within a luxurious, lakeside setting. Our team of professionally trained health and wellness experts caters to both local residents seeking a full spa day and resort guests desiring a brief treatment. We provide a wide range of services, including massages, facials, group fitness classes, and personal training, inviting guests to indulge for an hour or spend the entire day with us for rejuvenation and relaxation.

Requirements

Expertise in Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Prenatal Massage.
600 hours in an approved school.
Required licenses in accordance with Wisconsin state law.
Ability to physically perform the duties required of a massage therapist.
A caring, positive attitude with a genuine interest in helping clients.
Excellent customer service skills.
Desire to work in a team environment.
A self-driven, entrepreneurial attitude towards achieving goals.
Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

Perform various massage modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal.
Utilize body mobilization techniques.
Relieve pain, improve circulation, reduce stress, increase relaxation, and promote general wellness for clients.
Deliver the highest quality of customer service to guests.
Offer retail products including Spa gift shop and treatment-related items.
