Massage Therapist
About The Position
The Massage Therapist provides customized massage therapy to a variety of clients and members in a supportive studio environment. Therapists use their knowledge, skills, and training to deliver a superior massage experience, tailor each massage to client needs and preferences, recommend appropriate next steps in a client’s treatment plan, and create SOAP/intake notes for every session. Booking, laundry, and other support processes are handled for therapists. The studio offers hydraulic massage tables, ongoing training, on-site leadership, a focus on therapist self-care, and flexible scheduling. Availability for nights and weekends is required.
Requirements
- Must have completed, or be in the process of completing, a Massage Therapist educational program.
- Must hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a license or certification that allows the candidate to perform Massage Therapy at the studio.
- Must be available nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Follow established systems for providing clients and members with a superior massage therapy experience.
- Customize massages based on client needs and preferences.
- Provide professional recommendations for next steps in a client’s treatment plan.
- Create SOAP/intake notes for each massage session.
