About The Position

The Beauty/Massage Therapist will work as a member of our Hibiscus Spa team, performing various Spa services depending on their specialty. These services will be performed at the highest level and may include: massages, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, hair removal etc. The Beauty Therapist will report directly to the Spa Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified and licensed Beauty Therapist and Massage Therapist (current license must be transferable or eligible for Cayman Islands licensure)
  • Graduation from an accredited school of massage therapy and beauty therapy
  • Certification in full Anatomy & Physiology required
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Spa/Beauty Therapist in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end spa (4- and 5-star experience preferred)
  • Multi-skilled across massage therapy, advanced facial treatments, nail technology, and body waxing/threading
  • Proven retail sales experience and ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strong guest relations and customer service background with outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
  • Professional appearance, enthusiastic personality, and genuine passion for wellness
  • Ability to multitask calmly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Full flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and split shifts as required

Nice To Haves

  • Skin Care training from a recognized product house (e.g., Elemis, Biologique Recherche, La Mer, etc.) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of spa services safely and professionally in accordance with Spa Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety guidelines
  • Deliver all types of massages including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Reflexology, and pregnancy massage (where qualified)
  • Perform facials, body treatments, exfoliations, wraps, and masks using premium product lines
  • Provide manicures, pedicures (including gel/polish application), nail shaping, and artistic design
  • Perform hair removal services using hot wax, sugaring, threading, or other techniques
  • Consult with guests to recommend and customize treatments and home-care retail products; actively up-sell and cross-sell services and products
  • Maintain full and accurate guest records, treatment notes, and contraindication checks
  • Ensure treatment rooms and work areas are impeccably clean, organized, and stocked to luxury resort standards
  • Monitor and report low inventory of products, linens, and supplies to the Spa Supervisor in a timely manner
  • Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge
  • Begin and end all appointments precisely on time while delivering a warm, unhurried guest experience
  • Assist with spa retail display, stocking, and inventory management when needed
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Spa Management
