About The Position

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of School/Experience in massage therapy.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated.
  • Proof of eligibility to be work in the United States
  • Nevada Massage Therapy License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Forbes and/or AAA service standards.
  • Working knowledge of spa booking system(s).
  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility products, features and amenities.
  • Evaluate and educate guests about applicable wellness recommendations.
  • Ensure facility equipment is functioning properly and report any concerns to Lead Esthetician and/or Spa Management.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
  • Perform preparation work and restock room at the end of each shift.
  • Promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as any promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
  • Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Consult with guests to determine any areas of focus or contraindications.
  • Provide guests with recommendation to continue care after their appointment.
