About Winvian Winvian is a Relais & Châteaux resort located in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, offering a highly personalized, luxury guest experience. Our spa serves a discerning clientele and is known for its tranquil setting and exceptional service standards. Position Overview We are seeking a talented and service-driven Full-Time Massage Therapist to join our Spa team. This is an ideal opportunity for a therapist looking for consistent hours, strong earning potential, and the chance to work in a luxury, high-touch environment. Compensation We offer a competitive pay structure that combines hourly pay with significant gratuity potential: Hourly base rate dependent on experience. Service Gratuity dependent on treatment $250 credit annually for continuing education Typical total earnings average $70+ per service hour, depending on treatment. What to Expect Consistent scheduling and reliable hours Strong guest demand and booking volume, especially during peak season (May–October) High-end clientele with generous gratuity patterns Opportunity to build repeat guests and a steady workflow A supportive, professional, and team-oriented spa environment Services Offered Our spa menu includes a variety of modalities, including: Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Thai, Ashiatsu, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Reflexology, Prenatal Massage, and Lymphatic Drainage. Therapists are not expected to be trained in all modalities—training is available for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut Massage Therapy License (required)
- Must hold current state certificate.
- Candidates must be able to work Tuesday - Saturday with Sundays and Mondays off.
- We are looking for enthusiastic people who have excellent customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a luxury spa environment preferred, but not required
- Facials, body treatments, or hydrotherapy services
- Candidates need not be experienced in all services offered but the more the better.
- Our spa also offers a full line of facial, tub & body treatments so candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a luxury spa is preferable but not required.
