About The Position

The Primary purpose of this position is to administer massage, body and hydrotherapy treatments. This role requires adherence to all operational standards, policies, and procedures. The therapist must stay updated on the latest developments in the Spa industry, including product knowledge and usage. They will be responsible for preparing equipment and supplies, and must be able to work under pressure, manage guest complaints, and make sound decisions while ensuring guest privacy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience in massage/body therapy desired.
• Current licenses and certificates for massage therapy as required by the State, County, and City/Town.
• Computer software skills required.
• Must be First Aid/CPR Certified or become certified within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
• Possess the conflict resolution skills necessary to evaluate product and treatment quality and guests complaints.
• Willingness to work and be flexible in work scheduling.
• Able to make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Stay up-dated accordingly in the latest developments pertinent to the Spa industry and the department and be well versed and trained in their usage, including product knowledge.
• Prepare the massage, body and hydrotherapy equipment and the daily supplies needed.
• Evaluate product and treatment quality and guests complaints.
• Ensure the privacy of each guest being sensitive to their needs.
