About The Position
Responsible for shielding the surfaces of parts that do not require processing. This role involves processing parts according to shop work orders, applicable specifications, and drawings, and following instructions from the supervisor. The Masker also ensures the integrity of incoming parts, completes necessary paperwork, and manages hazardous materials safely. This position is in a manufacturing setting and requires access to ITAR-regulated technical data.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
- Vision (Near, Distance)
- Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversations
- Sense of Touch
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses
- Standing for long periods of time
- Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
Responsibilities
- Shielding the surfaces of parts that do not require processing.
- Process parts according to shop work order and applicable specifications and drawings.
- Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks.
- Ensure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc.).
- Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings and specifications.
- Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as required.
