About The Position
THIS IS NOT A CIVIL SERVICE POSITION. ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT. This is a Part Time position requiring 10 hours per week. The role involves teaching Martial Arts and reporting to the Leisure Service Supervisor. The instructor will represent the Kenner Parks and Recreation Department at martial arts classes, interpreting rules and regulations, and reporting any issues that arise during class.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a background in Martial Arts.
Nice To Haves
- Prior background in Martial Arts or Martial Arts instruction.
Responsibilities
- Instruct Martial Arts classes.
- Act as the representative for the Kenner Parks and Recreation Department at martial arts classes for interpretation of the rules and regulations.
- Report to the Kenner Parks and Recreation Department any problems that may occur during class.
