About The Position

Neighbor is hiring a Marketplace Growth Associate to work with commercial and residential property owners who list storage and parking spaces on its marketplace. The role focuses on helping hosts improve the visibility and performance of their listings so they can attract renters and grow their earnings. The position spends approximately 50–75% of the workday making outbound phone calls to hosts. Calls focus on improving listings by setting up Google Maps pins, refining photos and descriptions, setting appropriate prices, and encouraging reviews. The remaining time is spent on operations, including managing the signage program, tracking results, and identifying process improvements. The role suits someone who enjoys phone work, can independently manage a high volume of tasks, and looks for ways to improve processes.

Requirements

At least 1 year of work experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate professionally and neighborly with customers, especially over the phone.
Ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities to improve them.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of work without significant oversight.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a high-volume phone role, such as customer service, inside sales, or an SDR position.
Interest in local SEO, marketplaces, or marketing.
Experience building AI workflows.
Comfort with a fast-moving startup pace and motivation to grow the role.

Responsibilities

Schedule and conduct several dozen daily calls with hosts to create Google Maps pins for their Neighbor listings.
Improve pin quality and performance over time through better photos and descriptions and by requesting reviews.
Promote Neighbor signage to hosts, send customized signs to those who opt in, and track each sign’s performance.
Coach high-potential hosts on pricing, photos, reviews, and descriptions to help their listings attract more renters.
Build relationships with hosts as Neighbor’s front line, helping them remain active and grow on the platform.
Identify bottlenecks in growth programs and propose changes to make them faster and more effective.
