About The Position

Neighbor is hiring a Marketplace Growth Associate to help improve the performance and growth of its hyperlocal storage and parking marketplace by working with hosts—the commercial and residential property owners who list spaces. The role focuses on helping hosts make their listings easier to find and more appealing to renters, which can help hosts earn more and support marketplace growth. Most of the day (50–75%) is spent making outbound phone calls to hosts. On these calls, the associate helps hosts create Google Maps pins and improve listing photos, descriptions, pricing, and reviews. The remaining time is devoted to operations, including running the signage program, tracking results, and identifying ways to improve processes. The role suits someone who enjoys phone-based work, can independently manage a high volume of tasks, and looks for opportunities to improve processes.

Requirements

At least 1 year of work experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate professionally and neighborly with customers, especially over the phone.
Ability to follow processes while identifying opportunities to improve them.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of work without significant oversight.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a high-volume phone role, such as customer service, inside sales, or SDR work.
Interest in local SEO, marketplaces, or marketing.
Experience building AI workflows.
Comfort with a fast-moving startup pace and motivation to grow the role.

Responsibilities

Schedule and conduct several dozen calls per day with hosts to create Google Maps pins for their Neighbor listings.
Improve pin quality and performance over time by helping hosts with photos, descriptions, and review requests.
Pitch Neighbor signage to hosts, send customized signs to those who opt in, and track sign performance.
Coach high-potential hosts on pricing, photos, reviews, and clear descriptions to help attract renters.
Build relationships with hosts and help keep them active and growing on the platform.
Identify bottlenecks in growth programs and propose improvements to make them faster and more effective.
