About The Position

This role is responsible for providing friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members, fostering a fun environment, and acting as a gracious host. The attendant will retrieve, prepare, display, sell, and serve products, including preparing food a la carte. They will handle sales transactions, including payroll deduction payments and cash handling. A key responsibility is maintaining the cleanliness and safety of work areas, including cleaning tables, floors, and equipment. The role also involves attending training, completing reports, adhering to company policies and gaming laws, and meeting uniform and appearance standards. Any reasonably requested job duty to promote productivity or efficiency may also be assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Ability to prepare, read, and comprehend documents.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs, including counting money.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to qualify for all licenses or permits required by local, state, or federal law.
  • Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.
  • Ability to earn and maintain a current Food Handlers Card.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Written communication skills in English may also be required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Must be able to efficiently and accurately count money and gaming chips and make change.
  • Possess the ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Team Members Under 21 Years of age at no time are you to act as a bartender and pour alcohol. When a guest requests an alcoholic beverage it is required to have a team member 21+ prepare the order.

  • Ensure all areas are clean and attractive, including cleaning tables and removal of dishes, cups, tableware, debris, and litter, and cleaning floors.
  • Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
  • Compile information, complete, and submit reports as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner, including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Perform any reasonably requested job duty needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business, or any reasonable request made by your supervisor or management personnel.
