About The Position

The Marketing Strategy & Performance (MS&P) team within U.S. Consumer Cards (USCC) Marketing drives management activities for the organization, leads expense management (including budget optimization), and enables strategic initiatives. The C13 will report to the Head of Marketing Strategy & Performance, and will assist with key routines: Partner with the Marketing Criteria Risk Assessment (MCRA) lead. Responsibilities include attending weekly MCRA meetings, managing campaign post-approval validations, maintaining MCRA charter, reporting on campaign inventory) Assist the Vendor Management lead with contractor management, including working with teams across USCC Marketing to handle new contractor engagements, contractor renewals, and contractor offboarding Manage key routines / deliverables completed by the Strategic Initiatives team within MS&P. Includes monthly business reviews, all hands / town halls, newsletters and communications, and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones. This role sits at the crossroads of business execution and strategy.   • 6-10 years of experience in Marketing and retail bank/financial services industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Marketing Criteria Risk Assessment (MCRA) lead, including attending weekly MCRA meetings, managing campaign post-approval validations, maintaining MCRA charter, and reporting on campaign inventory.
  • Assist the Vendor Management lead with contractor management, including handling new contractor engagements, renewals, and offboarding.
  • Manage key routines and deliverables for the Strategic Initiatives team within MS&P, such as monthly business reviews, all-hands meetings, town halls, newsletters, communications, and tracking of KPIs and milestones.
  • Partners with internal teams to ensure marketing campaigns are designed and executed flawlessly to meet business goals. Engaged in implementing test strategies, developing campaign schedules, business as usual (BAU) auditing, and applying critical thinking to identify and mitigate potential issues. Assesses for impacts and potential need for additional testing to ensure overall channel integrity.
  • Collaborate with business partners to execute campaigns/initiatives that drive acquisitions growth and greater customer engagement.
  • Make decisions and recommendations based on analytics.
  • Identify and manage issues to resolution.
  • Assist with monthly budget reconciliation and marketing invoice processing to ensure proper vendor execution.
  • Manage internal legal and creative reviews and approvals for marketing campaigns.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
