About The Position

Suburban Enterprises is looking for an ambitious Marketing Specialist to be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of our marketing strategy. The Marketing Specialist will focus on creating, implementing, tracking and optimizing our digital and traditional marketing campaigns across various marketing channels. To be successful as a marketing specialist, the Marketing Specialist must be highly self-motivated, proactive, and have a working knowledge of current marketing tools and strategies in order to execute successful marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in marketing or business administration.
  • Ability to package and communicate analysis/research results into a concise and easy to understand manner.
  • Provides consistent and timely follow-up to questions and action assignments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google+ and other social media best practices.
  • Experience with WordPress web hosting and development.
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Ability to promote teamwork and obtain results through others in a professional manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office suite of applications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage digital content tools and processes.
  • Understanding of existing industries, markets, and company technologies/solutions.
  • Support the business units in identifying trends, assessing related growth opportunities, and creating strategic recommendations.
  • Support new product and market development efforts utilizing industry, customer and competitor insights through secondary research and primary research including interviewing, surveys, voice of customer and customer insight visits.
  • Active participation in identifying new opportunities in which Suburban capabilities and competencies provide a sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Engage in relevant social conversations within the industry and vertical markets to improve brand awareness to new audiences.
  • Supports development and execution of the annual marketing plan that delivers stated marketing and financial objectives.
  • Coordination of tradeshow, customer events, and other conventions.
  • Strategize, execute, maintain, and analyze a content creation plan for all social media platforms.
  • Drive consistent traffic and leads from social media.
  • Monitor analytics of social efforts to measure and share success.
  • Aid in management of CRM tools as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain media relationships.
  • Create and maintain WordPress website for Suburban and all associated businesses.
  • Research, analyze and effectively communicate customer needs and market trends.
  • Develop sales support and corporate promotional materials, including print, web, digital and social content.
  • Elevate Suburban’s brand
  • Develops and maintains marketing budget with the President and CEO.
  • Identifies potential strategic partners, alliances, and relationships to expand profitability and existing channels.
