About The Position

Furniture Mart and NOLA Throws in Gretna, LA are looking for a creative and driven Part Time Marketing Specialist to help grow our brands and connect with customers in exciting new ways. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your marketing talents to a dynamic retail environment where your ideas will make a real impact. Position is primarily remote with occasional on-site visits for photography and video production. Flexible work from home options available.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field
Proficiency in social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

Graphic design skills; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
Manage and create content for social media platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness
Assist in planning and promoting in-store events and seasonal sales
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics and report on campaign results
Support email marketing initiatives
Coordinate with vendors and external partners on advertising and promotional materials
