Marketing Specialist – Steel Division (On-Site)
About The Position
Priefert is seeking a motivated and organized Marketing Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between the Steel Division and the corporate marketing team. This role helps translate product knowledge, customer needs, and market insights into effective marketing content and messaging. The position will support sales and business development efforts through website content, social media activity, written marketing assets, and market research. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with cross-functional teams and can turn technical product knowledge into clear, practical marketing material.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant experience in the steel or manufacturing industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Self-starter who works well independently and within a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Nice To Haves
- Experience with social media platforms, SEO, content management systems, or design software is a plus
- Knowledge of the steel industry is preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate communication between the Steel Division, sales team, and marketing department
- Create written content for website updates, marketing materials, and white papers
- Support and maintain the company’s social media presence
- Assist with marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and support business development
- Conduct market research and monitor industry and competitive trends
- Support trade shows, events, and public relations activities
- Ensure marketing materials align with company brand standards and meet ISO compliance and documentation requirements
- Help organize and maintain marketing assets including product photography and documentation
