About The Position

The position of Marketing Specialist I commonly reports to a Boyd Thermal Marketing Specialist II or III, or a Boyd Thermal Marketing Manager. This highly strategic position will be tasked with various projects that drive increasing value and profitability of the global organization and proliferate Boyd Thermal by Eaton’s brand, positioning, image, and lead generation. A Marketing Specialist I will execute projects and overcome basic issues and challenges to implement marketing strategies under general supervision.

Requirements

  • Member of the Sales & Marketing Team
  • 2 years of successful experience in marketing with a creative approach to problem solving
  • Hands-on approach to defining opportunities with a global perspective
  • Global teamwork and communication, collaborative
  • Use of current sales and marketing analytics (as well as their business knowledge) to identify trends and areas of improvement
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Business process orientation (metric driven), analytical thinking skills, ability to focus on value creation
  • Well-developed time management and communication skills, self-motivator
  • Ability to learn new products and technologies to communicate concisely on technical topics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 4 Year University Degree

Responsibilities

  • Creates and updates collateral for customers, industries, products, or applications
  • Generates blogs, articles, case studies and visual concepts for review by leveraging SMEs.
  • Monitors competitor messaging and activities; identify gaps, risks and opportunities.
  • Develop market analysis reports to assess market size, competitive landscape of geographical breakdown
  • Assess lead quality, facilitate follow through, track trends, and report on performance
  • Builds brand and position through web, social, and other platforms
  • May support tradeshows and other events, write content
