About The Position

ComForCare Home Care is seeking a Marketing & Sales Intern with previous caregiving experience who is interested in learning the business side of home care. This role offers an opportunity for current or former caregivers to gain office experience, explore career growth, or find a position between caregiving assignments. The intern will work with the leadership team to build referral relationships, educate the community, and assist families in finding quality home care services.

Requirements

• Previous professional caregiving experience is required.
• Passion for helping seniors and their families.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Comfortable speaking with healthcare professionals and community partners.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and social media).
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.

• CNA, PCA, HHA, DSP, or experienced caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physician offices, senior communities, and community organizations to introduce ComForCare’s services.
• Build relationships with referral partners and healthcare professionals.
• Represent ComForCare at health fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities.
• Follow up with prospective clients and referral sources.
• Assist with social media marketing and community engagement.
• Help distribute brochures, flyers, and marketing materials.
• Track marketing activities and referral leads.
• Learn the sales process for home care services.
• Support office operations as needed.
