Primary Responsibilities The Marketing Research Analyst III would work closely with the Insights Manager marketing research SME to identify, specify, manage, and execute all Voice of Customer needs, with particular emphasis on Voice of Consumer. They will both lead and assist in research planning, executing, analyzing and reporting to influence key product road mapping and new product development decisions. Presenting frequently to internal and external stakeholders as well as Sr. Leadership, this position will interface considerably with others to flawlessly execute projects and inform better decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 5-10 years of Marketing Research experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Project management experience including prioritization of multiple products against each other
  • Experience presenting and influencing Sr. Management/C-level Executives
  • Experience managing and selecting external research suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional organization, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with a wide range of primary qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Self-starter with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the design and execution of custom qualitative and quantitative customer research, with a primary focus on supporting Advanced “Fuzzy Front End” Innovation and road mapping and new product development’s insights needs
  • Synthesize research findings from primary and secondary research as well as internal data sources to unearth gaps, met and unmet customer needs, and critical context to inform stronger decision-making
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively to ensure highest quality deliverables are provided on time and on budget
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders by distilling large amounts of information into concise, visually impactful insights presentations
  • Build customized reports for individual stakeholders
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to create research stimuli to deeply understand user needs, test assumptions and iterate on new concepts
  • Maintain a close eye on mega trends, market signals and macro forces, and category trends to frame and size opportunity areas for innovation
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of partner agencies.
  • Experiment with new and/or non-traditional tools to find innovative ways of getting to deeper and/or more agile insights
