About The Position

DIALOG is seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to craft client-focused narratives that highlight DIALOG's distinctiveness in the competitive proposal landscape. This role is part of a cohesive marketing team that collaborates across all company levels. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking, a keen eye for design, strong writing and editing skills, and a passion for creating compelling proposals. This is a 1-year contract position with the potential to become permanent. The role requires excellent time management and communication abilities to succeed in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker who realizes ideas.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Confident and poised with strong interpersonal skills, able to deliver in a high-performance environment with multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines, including working closely with senior leaders.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a keen eye for design and layout.
  • Passion for architecture, city building, and/or design.
  • University degree or equivalent diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in the AEC industry.
  • Experience in proposal writing or other written editorial disciplines.
  • Advanced communication skills with demonstrated ability in partnership-building.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct opportunity searches and support tracking in CRM platform.
  • Lead pursuit strategy and develop successful proposals by working with small and large teams, including internal partners and external sub-consultants, while maintaining high standards and driving accountability.
  • Write engaging non-technical portions of proposals, ensuring content communicates the DIALOG Why and highlights unique value propositions.
  • Review and edit content for responsiveness, accuracy, and emphasis on compelling visual layout and written narrative.
  • Create and update marketing content, project descriptions, resumes, and photography.
  • Support the development of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and award submissions.
