Marketing/Proposal Coordinator - Energy Sector

About The Position

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Marketing/Proposal Coordinator with a strong understanding of the proposal/procurement process within the AEC industry, specifically in the Power and Energy sectors. This role involves leading pursuit teams in developing proposals and presentations to secure projects and drive KCI's continuous growth. The ideal candidate will be able to learn KCI's services, unique value propositions, and corporate structure to effectively present the firm's qualifications. This position requires excellent time management skills to handle multiple pursuits simultaneously and a motivation for growth opportunities. Experience working within the power and energy industries is required.

Requirements

Firm understanding of the proposal/procurement process within AEC industry, specifically within the Power and Energy sectors
Ability to learn KCI's services, unique value propositions (UVPs), and corporate structure
Excellent time management skills (capable of leading several pursuits at once)
Experience working within the power and energy industries
Experience with a CRM database (Microsoft Dynamics preferred, Unanet (Cosential), or Deltek Vision)
Experience with Adobe InDesign
Ability to conduct background research and gather/tailor supporting materials

Nice To Haves

Experience with additional Adobe programs, including Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience with the SF 330 / Architect-Engineer Qualifications process

Responsibilities

Read RFQ/P documents thoroughly and prepare proposal checklists that list client submission requirements and identify proposal team action items
Demonstrate experience with a CRM database; Microsoft Dynamics (preferred), Unanet (Cosential), or Deltek Vision
Demonstrate experience with Adobe InDesign. Experience with additional programs, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, is preferred
Understand the SF 330 / Architect-Engineer Qualifications process (experience preferred)
Lead pursuit teams on kickoff calls to develop winning strategies, assign team responsibilities, and establish deadlines
Prepare presentations and coach technical teams in preparation for client interviews
Track future project leads and update information regularly in the CRM database
Enter and update personnel and project information in the CRM database to maintain accurate records
Work with technical project managers and marketing content/support team to develop comprehensive materials highlighting KCI’s staff and capabilities
Conduct background research and gather/tailor supporting materials
Work with the marketing content team to develop high-impact graphics for proposals and presentations
Provide quality control (QC) review of marketing peer proposals
Print, assemble, and ship proposals and/or prepare electronic submission files as needed
Coordinate with teaming partners and respond to external requests for proposal information
Planning and coordination for KCI participation in conferences, trade shows, and other client-facing events
