CloudflareSan Francisco, CA
Onsite

About The Position

The Marketing team at Cloudflare is at the forefront of sharing our mission to help build a better Internet. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team dedicated to showcasing Cloudflare's innovative products and solutions to a global audience. Through strategic campaigns, engaging events, and compelling content, we drive awareness, generate demand, and support our company's rapid growth. As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience and contribute directly to our efforts in making an impact.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in academic or professional work—you use it regularly, not just occasionally.
  • Proven ability to build tools, dashboards, or automated workflows to solve real-world problems (vibe coding is fine; no engineering degree required, but you need to have built something and be able to walk through it).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working in spreadsheets, BI tools, or data visualization platforms.
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Available for the full 12-week fall internship (September 28 – December 18, 2026) and able to work from the Austin, TX office 3–5 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in event marketing, field marketing, or marketing operations—internship, part-time, or project-based.
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce or Marketo.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with team members to identify process gaps and help build or improve systems that make the team more efficient.
  • Document the tools and processes you build so they can be maintained and scaled beyond the internship.
  • Building and automating an event performance reporting process that aggregates data from historical sponsored events to support future marketing investment decisions and enable ongoing real-time reporting.
  • Developing an internal speaker management tool to track speaker availability, topics of expertise, location, and usage history across in-person events and webinars.
  • Supporting planning and logistics execution for field events and webinars running during the fall term.
  • Analyzing event and campaign performance data to surface trends, identify high-performing programs, and produce actionable recommendations for future investment.
