About The Position

The Marketing & PR Specialist assists with communications needs across Baptist Health South Florida. The role supports public relations and media relations, social media, production of internal and external publications, and planning and implementation of special events. The specialist also provides some administrative support to a Marketing & Public Relations manager or director. The candidate must communicate effectively, work well in a team, and work independently with little supervision.

The estimated salary range is $51,467.14–$66,907.28 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of current social media platforms and trends for business.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with little supervision.
• Demonstrated competency using AI tools appropriately, including exercising human judgment and adhering to Baptist Health standards and policies.
