About The Position

Road Scholar is seeking a Marketing Intern to join their Marketing Partnerships team for a remote internship during the Fall semester. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the entire partnership marketing lifecycle, from onboarding to fostering long-term success. The intern will manage operational tasks, develop partner management skills, and contribute to the company's growth by assisting with meeting summaries, compiling reports, and researching future partnerships. Road Scholar is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educational travel for older adults, fostering discovery, understanding, and connection through its programs. They are a mission-driven team passionate about lifelong learning and adventure.

Requirements

Junior or senior at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and file management skills.
Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Curious, collaborative, and excited to learn how creative teams work within a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

Monitor partnerships inbox for potential opportunities
Update partner calendar to reflect upcoming projects + events
Set up and manage workflows for partner projects
Send weekly updates to the team on current partnership projects happening
Shadow partnerships manager on partner calls + update notes in partnership tracker
Assist the partnerships manager with program giveaways
Research future partners for marketing and tourism boards
Assist in the quarterly partner report
