Marketing Operations Manager

Blue JToronto, ON
CA$95,000 - CA$120,000Hybrid

About The Position

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Marketing Operations Manager to assist in maintaining and increasing the efficiency of global marketing campaigns, reporting and analytics, optimizing marketing systems, and keeping data clean. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, digital, customer, partner, and event marketing; sales operations and sales; and customer support to develop and deliver innovative campaigns and programs for our target market and ICP. You will have autonomy and opportunity to own your scope, make an impact, and drive change. You’ll report to the Director of Marketing Operations who’s seen and done it all before, and will give you plenty of space and opportunities to both demonstrate your skills and expertise as well as learn and grow.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in HubSpot (or Marketo) executing campaigns and building operational systems in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Working understanding of B2B sales and outbound processes — lead routing, BDR/XDR qualification motions, and MQL/SQL hand-offs.
  • Familiarity with the broader revenue tech stack (Salesforce, enrichment tools such as ZoomInfo/Clay, Tableau, Chargebee, Zapier/Make/n8n/Workato); hands-on HubSpot administration and Salesforce exposure preferred.
  • Solid project management skills — comfortable managing multiple priorities across marketing and sales stakeholders and driving things to completion.
  • A process builder's mindset: notices broken workflows, documents clearly, and drives adoption rather than just designing on paper and waiting for instructions.
  • Resourceful and self-directed — digs into platform docs and figures things out, but knows when to ask for help.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to drive efficiency, improve workflows, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Nice To Haves

  • HubSpot Marketing Software certification and/or Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Help create the end-to-end design and monitor the operation of outbound and inbound lead routing — defining and enforcing rules so marketing-sourced and BDR/XDR-sourced leads reach the right queue accurately and fast.
  • Govern MQL/SQL definitions and marketing-to-sales (and XDR-to-AE) hand-off SLAs, closing the gap that leads to stall or leak between teams.
  • Partner with the BDR/XDR team on the operational and tooling side of outbound execution.
  • Track and report on pipeline-generation performance by source (outbound vs. inbound) so leadership can see what's driving performance.
  • Support events and partner marketing teams in executing live and virtual events — campaign creation, workflow build, metrics tracking, and lead routing.
  • Support marketers across functions in building audiences and creating/sending email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with demand gen, content, and partner marketing on personalized nurture programs.
  • Support the sales organization with campaign and event execution.
  • Continuously improve workflows using automation and AI where it removes manual work.
  • Serve as the day-to-day administrator of HubSpot, in coordination with GTM Systems on the broader connected stack.
  • Monitor and manage the HubSpot–Salesforce sync, resolving errors so lead and pipeline data stays trustworthy on both sides.
  • Champion data quality across marketing records — deduplication, normalization, and consistent attribution — partnering with the GTM Analytics Manager on the reporting layer.
  • Define and document conventions, naming standards, and processes so stakeholders can self-serve wherever possible.
  • Build and maintain day-to-day campaign and pipeline-source dashboards; partner with the GTM Analytics Manager for heavier or cross-functional reporting builds.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary, stock options, and benefits designed to support you and your family.
