About The Position

The primary function of this position is to support the Modern Pest Services Marketing team to develop, grow, and implement our digital brand strategy and consumer engagement funnel. This role specifically will help to lead customer facing activities to build awareness of Modern’s various pest control services using digitalization and marketing automation. This position will bridge the gap between creative campaign execution and backend marketing systems. Rather than simply managing basic administrative tasks under close supervision, the ideal candidate will take ownership of day-to-day database health, list segmentation, lead flow, and reporting. Working closely with our Marketing Manager, the Marketing Operations Coordinator will coordinate campaign logistics and build optimized workflows to ensure that marketing initiatives are delivered flawlessly and on schedule. This role will have a direct impact on process improvement, data integrity, and strategic campaign execution.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in a marketing, sales operations, database, or project coordination role (relevant, high-impact internship experience will be considered).
  • MS Excel skills are required (highly comfortable with VLOOKUP, data formatting, sorting/filtering large datasets, and Pivot Tables).
  • Outstanding organizational skills, ability to multitask, and strong critical thinking skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate cross-functionally across the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing preferred
  • Familiarity with CRMs and marketing automation platforms is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day data entry, customer list uploads, and lead sources within our CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation database (Pardot).
  • Own list reconciliation, formatting, and database segmentations to prepare accurate target audiences for direct mail, email marketing, and localized outreach.
  • Reconcile campaign data and compile regular performance reports to guarantee clean campaign source tracking and reliable ROI reporting.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing Director to coordinate, track, and execute multi-channel campaigns.
  • Coordinate logistical needs for localized events, community sponsorships, and regional brand assets.
  • Critically review our current operational workflows and propose automated or streamlined processes to increase efficiency.
  • Actively participate in campaign brainstorming sessions, offering creative, data-backed ideas for messaging, design directions, and channel testing.
  • Ask proactive, analytical questions when reviewing campaign metrics to help the team pivot and optimize performance.
