About The Position

Performs a variety of administrative and office duties in support of the Marketing Department. This is a temporary seasonal position not to exceed 122 days.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Clerical and/or administrative office experience
  • Excellent computer skills and demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
  • Ability to successfully handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Highly detailed-oriented
  • Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of or interest in marketing, advertising, or event production.
  • Valid Driver License

Responsibilities

  • Supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing and sales programs and property events.
  • Maintains and tracks inventory, coordinating with vendors and internal staff to ensure supplies and promotional materials are readily available
  • Fulfills interdepartmental requests and inbound fulfillment in a timely manner.
  • Performs computer database entry, research, and generates weekly reports as requested.
  • Supports with scheduling and maintaining the master calendar to ensure meetings and events are coordinated properly.
  • Provides administrative support with billing and invoicing.
  • Serves as an ambassador for the Marketing department, ensuring all interactions reflect the OC Fair and Event Center’s values.
