About The Position

This is a pivotal, "temp-to-perm" Marketing & Operations Manager role designed for someone to step in and become the "voice" of the business as the owner reduces his daily involvement. Operating 100% remotely (following a 2-week in-person training period), you will have significant control and "skin in the game". You will replace the current call center function, taking direct ownership of leads, quotes, and scheduling while spearheading marketing efforts to increase profitability.

Requirements

  • Strong background in SEO marketing.
  • Understanding of why reviews and digital structure are critical for growth.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to represent the brand professionally to B2C consumers.
  • Comfortable learning new CRM systems and using digital tools to streamline operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote environment and take full authority over daily operations.
  • Ability to drive profit and "make the business yours".
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats—from technical SEO tasks and blog writing to the daily "bread and butter" of quoting jobs and managing subcontractors.
  • Looking for a long-term home where your impact on the bottom line is directly rewarded.

Responsibilities

  • Write industry-related blog posts, add city pages to the website, and utilize tools like ChatGPT and WordPress to boost organic presence.
  • Work closely with long-term partner Steve Scott to understand and execute SEO strategies.
  • Manage incoming leads to maintain a 40–45% conversion rate and handle all customer quoting and scheduling.
  • Monitor and drive Google reviews, ensuring movers are incentivized for positive feedback.
  • Manage the CRM (Elromco) to track moves, communicate with customers, and ensure crews are not overbooked.
  • Begin capturing and utilizing pictures and videos from moves for social media and YouTube content.
