About The Position

The Marketing Manager will work alongside the Director of Marketing & Events supporting marketing efforts that promote the Bal Harbour Shops destination and will facilitate the communication and follow-up of marketing initiatives with Bal Harbour Shops tenants in accordance with the team’s initiatives. This role supports the Director of Marketing & Events in communicating and activating marketing initiatives on property which include events, partnerships with business generators, and Access initiatives. Facilitates logistics and coordination of promotional efforts and activations based on the approved slate of programming.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communication, or a related field
  • Minimum experience of 3 years, preferably 5 or more, in marketing or a related field
  • Understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels and initiatives
  • High proficiency in interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, capably simplifying complex information to communicate effectively
  • Collaborator and team player
  • Graphic skills relevant for creation of marketing assets such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and research ability
  • Provide professional judgement and discretion
  • Cultivate relationships with Bal Harbour Shops corporate partners and Store Managers
  • Flexible hours to support variable deadlines and event partnership
  • Ability to walk, stand, crouch, reach, and push, pull, lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare marketing communications to Bal Harbour Shops tenants
  • Draft tenant communications related to marketing including business generator opportunities, on-boarding for event partnerships, and on-boarding for Access partnerships
  • Develop marketing presentations, decks, and reports
  • Manage tenant opportunities by: Following up on marketing initiatives and addressing inquiries/concerns and tracking interest and participation
  • Liaising with Events Manager or Access Team for seamless follow through
  • Manage and collect information from both marketing and operations for quarterly Tenant Newsletter eblast
  • Track, follow-up, and review Lease Required Promotion (LRP) for all Bal Harbour Shops tenants with direction from Director of Marketing & Events
  • Collaborate in the lead up and execution to large format Bal Harbour Shops events by shadowing Director or Marketing & Events and providing back-end support
  • Coordinate logistics and communication for Business-to-Business programming including (1) Media: Conduct select media tours, liaise with PR agency on media inquiries, and manage logistics for media gifting along with PR agency and (2) Public Relations: Work with internal team on providing relevant updates and images to PR agency
  • Manage reservation details for media and food influencers directly with Bal Harbour Shops restaurant management teams
  • Execute new Business Generator strategies set by department leadership, may cross-collaborate with other departments in order to deliver these strategies to execution
  • Review monthly press hits sent by PR agency and communicate to internal Bal Harbour Shops team on a monthly or bi-monthly basis
  • Liaise with Tenant Coordination and Leasing Team for up-to-date information on tenant openings, relocations, and renovations and create internal calendar for marketing team
  • Oversee day-to-day marketing administrative efforts
